From the parking lot at the Cranberry Glades Boardwalk ride FS 102 back toward RT 39, turn right and ride up RT 39 to the Kennison Mtn trailhead on the right where 10 mls of singletrack begins. The trail is amazing somewhat technical roots and rocks but beautiful and great scenery. At the bottom of the trail you'll come to the Cranberry River, no bridge, water may be calf high in some places. We crossed up-stream by a shelter on the far side. Where ever you cross the river you'll come to the gravel FR102, turn right (up-stream) you'll take this road back to the parking lot. FR102 is closed to cars till you are almost back to the parking lot, this is a really nice ride along the river. For longer ride options more singletrack in the area includes the Cow Pasture trail around the Cranberry Glades and trails around the Cranberry Nature Center. <br />
Access to the Cranberry Glades Botanical Area is from Route 39/150 just north of the Cranberry Mountain Nature Center. From Route 150 take Forest Service Road 102 north approximately one mile.<br /><br /><br /><br />
